The insights on peats.online are rooted in a long journey. It started in 2010 with the blog Personality Experts – a network designed to bring assessment providers together. The idea was simple but unique: give vendors a voice to share their mission, their goals, and the purpose behind their tools. Very soon, the diversity of approaches became clear.

From this initiative, Peats.de (PEATS - People Evaluation & Assessment Tools) was like a “Wikipedia” for talent assessment tools, emerged as a community platform where providers could list their tools. It was designed as a democratic project – empowering users to understand the market and decide for themselves what they needed. At that time, in-depth comparisons were still handcrafted in Excel sheets for companies, a time-consuming but highly valued service.
Over the years, I expanded my expertise by attending around 30 certification programs as a guest, learning how each tool works from the inside. I never positioned myself as a practitioner of one tool, but as someone who knows all of them – across vendors and markets. Between 2012 and 2017 I ran workshops on online assessments, often in the apprentice and early-career context, guiding hundreds of HR managers through the process of selecting the right tool.
